Laura has over 30 years of experience in wealth management and financial planning. She joined FirstWave Financial in 2001, serving clients in various leadership roles. In 2016, she bought the firm and was president and WealthCoach™ until it joined with Savant in 2024.

Laura earned a bachelor of science in business administration degree in finance from the University of Central Florida. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), and a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Laura is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization, Orlando Chapter, an advisory board member of Enterprising Women, and a member of the League of Extraordinary Investors. She is a board member of the Community Foundation for Brevard and a member of the American Business Women’s Association. Laura is a member of the Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the governing board and guild of Genesis House, a shelter for women and children that was founded by her mother, and she is a member of the Eau Gallie Yacht Club.

Laura has two adult children, Lea and Stuart, and two wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys beach activities and time with her many family members and friends. A lifelong learner, Laura is an avid reader and podcast listener. She enjoys business books and inspirational life journey stories which both help her keep fresh with business best practices and motivated with the tools to keep a positive daily mindset. For entertainment, Laura reads fiction novels and absolutely loves reading a good mystery. Fun fact: She has a deep appreciation for a good-tasting hot sauce.
